If you were having a baked potato with beans and cheese, which would you put on first?

Just in terms of beans & cheese, not your preference of other topping and with nothing other than cheese and beans. If you don't like cheese and beans imagine you are making it for someone who does.

No poll yet but your missing out the phrase 'butter' from the equation

For my answer it would be baked potato , with butter , then beans , then cheese on top and would look a little like this

Image

Probably a little black pepper on the top.

Guys, I've been here too many years not to have known you'd do that.

I'd wager no one here would put cheese on first. Except maybe Craster. Because he's wrong about so many things

(Patrick Swayze Voice) Nobody puts cheese under the beans.

If they do and if you've married this person you need to start drawing up some kind of new wedding vows and then get your vows renewed sharpish so he does not transgress again.

If it's someone at work that's a written warning.

Spud U Like, the arboretum cafe and Debenhams all put cheese first. That's 100% of the cheese and beans baked potatoes I've had outside of the beans-first safety of home. I wonder if it's a local wrongness?

Beans then cheese.

The important thing to remember is rubbing butter and garlic salt on the potato skin before cooking.

I don't like baked beans but if I were making this for someone else I'd put the beans on, then the cheese. Obviously.

I do cheese then beans. I want my cheese on the potato, not separated from it in the first instance before then sliding away to the other side of the plate on the tsunami* of beans.

*Because the only correct quantity of beans is ALL THE AVAILABLE BEANS.

Stop eating cold jacket potatoes, dick.

CHEESE THEN BEANZ!

Enough cheese so you pretty much have to slice the beans.

My hot sauce of choice is Sriracha Flying Goose sauce.

Beans first, then cheese (yeah, yeah, the butter is mandatory).

But if I'm having them on crumpets, it's cheese I on first, and well toasted, then beans on top. And maybe a few jalapeño slices. Or Worcester sauce.

We once had crumpets soaked in egg, spices and finely shredded sprint onion, cooked, topped with cheese and grilled. That was awesome.

Wouldn't the bean juice just soak into the crumpets? Don't like the idea of that.

More than 3/4 people think that it's beans first, cheese on top, which is correct. Cheese should always be the top ingredient on anything, because it's the best one.

Beans are disgusting. Never beans.

Crumpets: boursin or golden syrup.

Butter everything all the time.
