Letterkenny was recommended to me by a chap at work, who had it recommended to him by a chap at work, and now I am recommending it it you lovely people. As there is no 'General Purpose Canadian TV Thread' I feel a dedicated thread is the only viable course of action.

Letterkenny is not available in any proper sense of the word in the UK (that I'm aware of) but it is 'available', in a 'you wouldn't download a car' sort of way.

The setting is a small fictional Canadian town with a population of 5000, and the show follows a few friends and residents of the town around, not really doing much of anything beyond living their normal lives, and chatting at the 'produce stand'.

It's very dry and very funny, the episodes are a wonderfully compact 23-ish minutes, and there don't appear to be any boundaries to what the characters will talk about, and how.

Give it a go!

I had an out loud chuckle at how this was worded, so thank you for the fleeting moment of cheer :)

Hearthly is totally right about this, it's very good and you should all pay more attention to the threads he makes.
