Astute readers will know that I've been selling some things on eBay recently.

Someone from Australia has bid and won a couple of items. Foolishly, I didn't put a proper price in on the item description and guessed what the postage will be. The buyer has happily paid this so...

I need a cheap parcel company that will get something to Australia, for cheap!

Does anyone have any experience of such a company? I've tried Royal Mail but their website always seems to lead me to the most expensive option.

If you want a quote from various places at once, try interparcel.com. I use them when Royal Mail would be too expensive.

I sent E.coli to Oz, once, and they were not happy. Israel hsd fewer issues. So something something customs.

If you want an awkward country to send stuff to, it's Canada. Their postal service seems to reject anything where the customs form isn't precisely filled in...

I was told the customs label has to be placed in the top-left (I think) too

I think the worst luck I've had has been with the UAE. Had one parcel returned for no specified reason and another not arrive or return at all, leaving me out of pocket.
