The team captains have the game grid in their PMs. Red team to start. Off you go :)

Oh, and also: depending on how quickly this goes, if people like we'll make this game best two of three, or best three of five, with the captain rotating through the team members.

If DavPaz doesn't hurry up I'm going to nominate a different captain and regenerate the grid.

It's a forum game. Surely the point is that it can take place at any pace?

My main aim will be 'Can I figure out who the hell "in the beex midwinter" is'.

Best guess so far is Davpaz sock puppet.

Organ and disease, I reckon. Although you can have a 'body of water'. :S

And an undertaker deals with a body. I'm not all in on disease to be honest.

The queen has a body. A pupil is a part of your body. A ninja has a well-trained body.

Pupil and organ for me, Clive.

We seem to agree on organ. Shall we guess it?

Jazzy won't be online during the day and Kovacs likely to be useless, so yeah, let's do that. APOD?

Disease or undertaker for me. I think water and pupil would be too tenuous, personally.

Undertaker could be better, as they handle bodies rather than something affecting a body.

Are you kidding me?

Pupil is far more direct than either of yours.

An organ is part of the body.
A pupil is part of the body.

It follows pretty neatly.

That would work, I was thinking pupil as part of an education system.

You may notice a lot of the words in the worldlist have double or even triple meanings; that's not a coincidence, it's to enable clever plays. And that's before you start using clues that rely on rhyme that then work in one pronunciation or another.

I usually over complicate things in games like this, so for the moment I'll stick with the simple answer, but realise it could be thoroughly wrong.

Let's see what APOD and Jazzy think.

Up to you how much you want to consensus-build across the team before making a guess, and I think it's good if the play went at a relaxed pace [1] that didn't rely on people being online a lot in order to contribute; but just to clarify that from a strict rules perspective I'm happy to consider guesses at any time.

[1] Perhaps a touch more relaxed than the typical game of Mafia. That's what I'm aiming for.

Winning by default being the best type of winning.

Shove Organ in then. Let's see what comes out.

Most forums have a rule that if you don't make a move for 24 hours, it counts as a pass. That seems like an OK length of time.
