Hi folks!
Just here for another bit of shameless self promotion and more wordage for you to fill up a bored coffee break with at work. Things have been kind of crazy for me lately, in a slightly scary but thrilling and exhausting way that's all to the good. Basically I've just had my first big exhibition as part of the international Diffusion Festival here in America, as part of the theme Looking for America. It was of my US Civil War stuff and it was called 'Seeing the Elephant', and Kern was kind enough to come down in full regalia and help me out opening night. Good night had by all, with my parents down and Otley beer freely flowing.
You can read all about it on my blog by following the link here:
Seeing the ElephantI'm going to be
stalking working with Kern some more in this upcoming year, assembling more material for this ongoing project which should hopefully culminate in a book. Naturally my small town America enthusiasms remain undiminished too. I just wanted to say that when I took up photography a few years ago I never realised how involved it would all become, and I'm really excited now that I finally feel that I'm finding my voice through it, and that people seem to be digging my schtick too. Now if only Fallout 4 would let me alone so I could get some more work done!
