Putting the band back together
A few days ago, 'Joliet' Jake Blues was released from prison. He and his brother are on a mission from God to put the band back together.
If Jake and Elwood can find enough of the other members of their band they will be able to perform at the Palace Hotel Ballroom and save the St Helen of the Blessed Shroud Orphanage, and all will be good. Why is there voting and lynching? Not a clue.
The Band
'Joliet' Jake Blues (1) knows that XXXX is Elwood. They can communicate via PM.
Elwood Blues (1) knows that XXXX is Jake. They can communicate via PM.
The Good Ol' Boys
An Good Ol' Boy (2+) is a member of the band that had their gig stolen and was then in a crash because of the Blues Brothers, so they're all angry with them. The other Good Ol' Boys are XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Each night, one of them can PM me with the name of the person they want to kill with a massive shotgun. If Jake and Elwood are killed, The Good Ol' Boys get bonus points.
The Crew
Reverend Cleophus James (0-1) wants the Blues Brothers to succeed. Each night, he can investigate a person and, using his years of experience as a preacher, he will find out all about them. Whoever is investigated will spend the night dancing at the Triple Rock Baptist Church, but will leave if they need to do anything else. They will, of course, be aware that they were dancing all night, but they won't recognise the Reverend the next day. He wants the band to succeed.
Mystery Woman (0-1) has a serious beef with Jake, and wants him dead. Each night, she will kill someone in a high-tech manner. However, if she tries to kill Jake, he will snog her, changing her allegiance. She doesn't want the band to succeed unless she snogs Jake.
Head Nazi (0-1) is yet another person who wants the Blues Brothers dead. Each night, he can order one person to be killed. If he kills a black character, he will be so pleased that he will take the next night off to celebrate. Ideally, he'd like to personally kill both of the Blues Brothers (and being in a voting block counts). He doesn't want the band to perform.
Sister Mary Stigmata (0-1) is in charge of the St Helen of the Blessed Shroud Orphanage, and is desperate for Jake and Elwood to get the money needed to save it. Each night, she can prey for a player of her choice, and they will receive some help from God (ie. me - whatever I feel they need most at the time).
Chic Lady (0-1) wants to bang Elwood, but she'll bang anyone else too. Each night, she can PM me the name of the player she wants to bang, and what she plans to do with them. That player won't do anything else that night, and will be aware of what happened, but they won't recognise Twiggy the next day. Because reasons. She doesn't care if the band perform or not.
Steve 'The Colonel' Cropper (0-1) is a member of the band. He wants the band to perform.
Donald 'Duck' Dunn (0-1) is a member of the band. He wants the band to perform.
Murphy 'Murph' Dunne (0-1) is a member of the band. He wants the band to perform.
Willie 'Too Big' Hall (0-1) is a member of the band. He wants the band to perform.
Tom 'Bones' Malone (0-1) is a member of the band. He wants the band to perform.
'Blue Lou' Marini (0-1) is a member of the band. He wants the band to perform.
Matt 'Guitar' Murphy (0-1) is a member of the band. He wants the band to perform.
Alan 'Mr. Fabulous' Rubin (0-1) is a member of the band. He doesn't want the band to perform.
Craster (0-1) is wrong about The Blues Brothers being a film and not a musical. He wants the band to perform.
