Has anyone tried Popcorn time to an alternative to more traditional torrent handlers? Is it any good?

Looks to be a mix of Netflix and a BT client. Doesn't look like it used private trackers and some users have had 800 euro bills in Germany from content owners.

Sure if you use a VPN you would be fine.

Sky customers in the UK are apparently getting legal letters and whatnot at the moment for torrenting films which is the first time they've bothered doing that for a while.

Really, we kind of stick to Netflix as there is still so much content on there that it's pretty much everything we need.

It was my brother who had suggested Popcorn time: he did mention being behind a VPN for security, so I said you'd echoed this. He said he'd been using one but also asked if there was any one that was particularly recommended: is any more robust than another, for example?

Sky are very aggressive as an ISP at blocking torrent sites and other stuff, makes sense as they also supply content as well.

You can get around the url blocks using Google DNS, to avoid the letters best to use NG, Private trackers or a VPN
