Anyone give two shits?

Oh and apparently its had a DDOS attack which has screwed up multiplayer. Thanks, Internet nerds, why can't we just let people have fun playing pooty games for a change?

I tried the beta multiplayer, and thought it was fairly hateful.

I didn't even get as far as trying the beta, a few mates at work did and it got a universal thumbs down. Also, clearly not a Battlefield game, just something else they had kicking around that they decided to call Battlefield so it's then part of the 'franchise'. None of us pre-ordered it, none of us are intending to buy it.

I wish EA would stop fucking around and simply get DICE to make Battlefield 2143. Seriously, just do 2142 again but update it with the Frostbite engine.

On top of all that, we were all so unimpressed with BF4 that none of us are pre-ordering BF5, it can wait until it's (a) Patched and working and (b) Cheaper than at launch.

I think it says it all that last Saturday night we were playing BF3.

Eurogamer's review of the Battlefield Hardline single player campaign was massively underwhelming, albeit they readily admit the campaign isn't what people go to the Battlefield games for. It'll be interesting to see their review of the full game. After the BF4 fiasco they're holding off on the review until they've had a decent chance to play it on the same public servers as everyone else.

So yeah, in short. Battlefield Hardline = No.

I wish for bf and cod etc that they would make the campaign a dlc or not bother at all and just sell the game for half price.

I thought the second beta was alright, but i haven't bought it.
I have read that they have set the health on the hardcore mode as 100%, which is completely the wrong way round. Hardcore on other BF games is 60% health and missing a lot of the HUD and map, which was ok, but what they should have done is 60% health but keeping all the goodies on screen. That way you can play it as intended, but the bullets actually mean something when you shoot someone.
What they have done is mean that people are bullet sponges still, but without any of the HUD or map, so what's the point.
