Good morning!

Oh dear.

GazChap is dead.

He has been hacked to death by the blades of a load of toy helicopters. How icky.

GazChap was a regular elf.

[playerlist]
Bobbyaro
Joans
Sharp Suit
Goddess Jasmine
[/playerlist]

4 people so 3 votes needed.

Day ends Tuesday at midday, or before.

Well that sums it up for me. [vote:sharpsuit] there is no way that he wouldn't have been mod killed by now unless he was integral to still running the game.

Exactly what a bad person would say. More talk of mod kills. Proper elves are notoriously busy this time of year and just do their part by voting off bad people.

You see, While I kind of agree with GJ, I also agree with SS. GJ's first post attempt to kill does look very blood thirsty, and seems like an attempt to lead the voting.

I just happed to be the first here and posted what I thought.

If I were the DE why would I have left you and Joans alive last night when you were both voting for me? It makes sense that he left us alive so you can both take me out today then he can get one of you tomorrow.

But I don't thing SS has been paying that much attention to do that. Although it seems a fair gamble if it was you.

You might be right, I might be right. It's difficult to tell with his lack of posting really.

Do you really think I'd take a gamble like that at this late stage? It would have made much more sense to take you out and try to get Gaz to got for Joans or Sharpsuit, not leave myself at a disadvantage when two (now three) people want to vote for me. That's just insane!

If there is already someone in the firing line it makes sense to leave them there, saves you a kill.

I believe today is a our last chance, and we need to get it right - we are so close, but I'm not the DE!

I am, and we do need to get it right. So I'm a little suspicious of people immediately weighing with a vote. However, the reasons make sense, and may well be correct, but looking at sharp suit's posting history I'm not convinced he should be mod killed, so I guess that means [vote:bobbyaro]

What? I haven't voted. I haven't suggested a mod kill. Also, you do realise that we are voting for a lynch here, not a mod kill, right?

Really? :-/

I can check back at 6am but that's going to be my last chance to change my vote. I'm not going to vote for myself as it's against our win condition and won't even help us to work any thing out.

I'm not happy voting for Bobby either as I think he is just an elf too.

I could switch to Joans(I'm not convinced, but I think his last post is confusing not helpful), but we need SS and Bobby to agree but I'm not sure that SS will be back in time.

We really can't let today time out.

There's 4 of us, and three need to agree for a vote. Which means we effectively need a unanimous decision to vote anyone off. The demented elf will be quite happy to vote for anyone that isn't them, but if I was the demented elf, I'd probably be quite happy to wait for someone to blunder in with a vote, someone else to think that was a fairly good idea, and then pop in with the final vote and wrap it all up. GJ and SS were both far too eager to play their hands early, therefore Bobby is the demented elf. Probably.

I think he's saying you're waiting for two people to vote for the same person so you can make the final vote.

Also, I can't read. We have until lunch time on Tuesday so not the rush I thought it was.

Oh, well t that makes no sense. Why wouldn't I just vote? Also that makes me think Joan's isn't the bad elf, as why would he vote for me?

With 4 players alive, 3 votes are required for a lynch, and 3 nolynch votes are required to not lynch anybody.

This is an interesting point. As a fellow quiet member, I am happy to side with you and vote for those who love the sight of their own typing. I am still suspicious of Goddess Jasmine but have no reason to trust Bobby either. Mostly the gobby ones have been guilty of being bad roles so maybe it is time to roll the dice.

I know that Zaphod wanted to get rid of Bobby, but I'm really not feeling it.

I'm not prepared to let the day time out either though. :s

Well the fact you haven't voted for me tells me you are surely town. I don't see why joans would have voted for me if he wasn't town. So that leaves SS. If I was a bad guy I would have voted earlier. From the voting today, and there is little else to go on, it would seem SS is the dark elf.

A timeout would be better than getting it wrong.

It's 50/50 at the moment as to who it is.

A there any secret roles?

Yeah, I was thinking that it would be game over but you're right.

We don't know. We haven't come across any yet, but that doesn't mean there aren't any/isn't one.

not sure that not voting will help because the bad elf will just kill one of you to tonight and then it still the same argument tomorrow, me or sharp suit.

Right, I think we can say gj is good - she didn't put the last vote on me, the bad elf would have. Because it would have won them the game.
Joans , you voted for me instead of one of the people with votes already, implies you are good, except if you use your own logic, that you were waking for someone to get two votes. So I am not sure, but if you are good you may want to revisit your logic that you have making me out as bad. You may also want to go and look through some previous days.
SS. Came in and reactively voted for gj, a pretty much proven townie. He chose her because he thought that I would vote for her and it would be the easiest win. As I was voting for her yesterday. When I didn't and Joan's came in and voted for me, he changed his vote to me.

So it is between Joan's and SS, and I think it is SS.

Get it right - elves win. Unless secret roles say otherwise
Get it wrong - elves lose. Unless secret roles, blah, blah, blah.
Don't do anything, then yeah, we have the same argument again, although it would be interesting to see who's left in. Of course, if we don't do anything, we probably call it a draw because, y'know, Christmas.

And you think it's between me and SS? What crazy tactics am I playing where if it's me, I just can't be bothered to win the game?
Same goes for GJ, if it's her, why doesn't she just switch her vote and win? It's clearly you or sharp suit, and right or wrong, I'm happy with where my vote is.

Ok, so we are in a bit of a stalemate.

Goddess Jasmine, if you switch it up and vote Bobby, I will insist that you and Joans vote for me tomorrow and I will abstain. If I break my pledge and vote then you will know I am bad and you can vote for me anyway. I am effectively committing suicide to save Christmas from dementia.

Look, SS must be bad. We know you and gj are good, and he is offering an amnesty if you vote for me. If I am bad, there is no need for an amnesty as you have won. He expects to need an amnesty as he knows I am not bad!
