I always feel sorry for the Queen during the state opening. The way she manages to keep a straight face despite the material she's given is worthy of an Oscar.

She can't physically raise an actual smile though. When she tries, it comes out as some sort of grimace, as if she were a feral animal that's just caught the scent of a wounded pauper. See here:

It occurs to me that as the police have confirmed that none of the documents leaked to Green contained "national security" matters (whatever they are this week), it's quite likely they'd all have been disclosable under the Freedom of Information Act in any event.
