I watched the new Superman last night and loved every single second of it! I thought it was brilliant.

51 - Mickey 17. I was impressed. Good story, very well-shot and the best dual role effect yet. It all looked so seamless.

Was only let down by being too long, the tone being too silly (with a few tweaks this could have been a brilliant sci-fi horror) and Mark Ruffalo's performance being so over the top that it'd make Jeff Goldblum wince. 4/5

A shame about the Ruff. I do have a very soft spot for him, ever since Brothers Bloom from years ago. Worth seeking out if you haven't seen. By Rian Johnson of Knives Out shenanigans.

The Taylor Swift film was her doing a "making of a video" and then her talking about each song on the album including the one about her fiancée's willy.

One for the fans, can be a bit "...and then I won" but she is forgiven for all and this is Not A Cult.

52 - VHS Halloween. This was a pretty rubbish series of horror portmanteaus for quite a while but VHS Beyond (the 7th one) was sensational.

This one keeps the standard up. It was full of good horror moments but was a pretty good time apart from one story that was a bit much. 4/5

Films!

Riff Raff: some Amazon film that’s supposed to be a black comedy but has little in the way of chuckles.

Waterworld: Kevin Costner rules the waves as a fish man. I always heard about the lost revenue of how much it cost to make but nobody talks about the weird sexual assaults in the story. Kinda shit but kinda worth watching for historical purposes. Especially for when we all live on the ocean.

Sin City 2: starts off great but slowly loses steam towards the end. There’s a great film wanting to get out this.

The Green Knight: awesome film. This guy turns up and says you can cut me anywhere with your big medieval sword but I get to come back in a year and do the same to you but twice as hard. He cuts his head off. Duh. All sorts of stuff happens to a tense climax one year later.

Requiem for a Dream: a bunch of drug addicts do stupid shit and the typical happens. Very depressing but a fascinating look into addiction even if it’s a bit outdated.

"I Swear" is fucking brilliant and everyone should watch it. I spent most of the film trying not to cry, and the rest of the time trying not to laugh too loudly.

Nobody 2, I think it is as good and as silly as Nobody. Sharon Stone properly chews the furniture and a is a great over the top villain. All the bat shit mental ways of killing baddies is a good as the fist. We watched them back to bac, and Mini Kov thought they were great.
