Have updated the spreadsheet with latest payments.

We're now a month out, so if anyone is yet to pay it would be great to get those monies in over the next couple of weeks.

@Grim... would you be able to chase up Emelia & friends? They all owe £95 each

Are we meant to be able to see this spreadsheet? You keep mentioning it but I can't see it linked anywhere.

That's because it's on my PC. I never link the spreadsheet, but you're welcome to a copy.

Hey folks, Jazzy sent me this cottage box list after cottage last year -

Quote:
I've done a quick inventory of the cottage box before it goes in the loft too:

Kitchen rolls - 8 unopened + 2 in the box (total of 10)
Toilet rolls - 24
Blue roll - 1.5
Dishwasher tabs - most of a box
Liquid soap - 2
Sponge scourers - 5
Most of the black bags

Plus assorted cups, ping pong balls etc.

Looking at that I think we need some washing up liquid, possibly a couple more hand soaps, and a blue roll or two. Pens for quiz? Anything else I'm missing? My brain is utterly fried as I'm lurgied up at the sec (getting it out of the way before cottage though, nice)

Jazzy said we've got 10 kitchen rolls in the box - do we usually use more than that?!

Oh, unless you're asking me if we need both? Which is a good question I hadn't thought of :DD

Blue rolls are bigger. And thinner paper.

And blue

It's one to clean the kitchen, one to clean the blue obvs.

Anyway, I don't think I've mentioned my plans this year. I'm refereeing on the Friday night and it's my birthday on the Sunday so I'm planning on coming to the cottage around Saturday afternoon. I'll stay for the quiz and perhaps a game of mafia or two then head back so I won't be stopping over.

Kitchen roll is for soaking liquids up, blue roll is for smearing liquids around until they're such a thin layer you can't tell they're there anymore.

Like good bog roll and cheap bog roll.

Weather looks like it's going to be OK according to the long range forecast, so I'll be bringing some archery kit as usual for the Saturday morning. Probably set it up around 10am as usual.

I'm also bringing my Romanian friend, so if you see a lost looking woman wandering around, please say hello :D

Yes! The nearest I've not done is 40 mins away (Shipley Country), but I had a recommendation for one an hour away (Vicar Water), so if I can tempt people there that'd be nice.

I need a V, so I'd be up for this, assuming I can breathe by then!

I do not know what Cottageman looks like, so I imagine he is literally one of the walls of the cottage that develops a face like that talking wall out of Knightmare, intoning the words, "Feed me deposit... I hunger... for deposit."

Bless him and his bricky face.

I also need V, so I'm potentially up for it... although the hill from 3K to 4K doesn't sound pleasant, especially if the weather's shit.

And I haven't run a full 5K in ages, so I'd probably drive separately so you don't have to wait around ages for me afterwards :DD

Doubt we'd be in any rush! This elevation profile might not reassure, but it does look much more like a slow grind than anything hideous: https://www.plotaroute.com/routeprofile/3026450 (though possibly a couple of shorter horrible hills, then a longer slow one). It's not actually that much up, honest (please print these words out to feed them to me).

If I bring the replacement joycon rubber caps with me to cottage that I bought months ago from Amazon, can someone handy help me sort my knackered left joycon? I can't even figure out how to get the old one off. :|

I've done my joycon before... Is it the original Switch?

Can you take a picture of what you've got as I'm sure I'd be able to help.

It's the OLED one. The rubber cap on the joystick is completely worn away on one side and so I bought some replacement little rubber thingies (ooer) but I cannae get the old one off.

I'll take pictures tomorrow when I'm not in bed feeling sorry for myself :) thank you!

No, it's a replacement cap rather than a cap cover (which I'm beginning to think I should have just bought)
