I think Cottage would be a good place for Traitors style or Taskmaster style games, but god knows I don't have the energy to organise that shit

On the Mafia topic, I've been playing a bit of Blood On The Clocktower just lately with Zeppo and friends, and I think that would be a good fit for Cottage -- although the added complexity of everyone having roles and abilities would make it decidedly impractical after we've all had a few.

Yeah, that bit.

It's the fact that it's a glorified Mafia that made me think it would work so well.

And by well, I mean probably disastrously but with hilarious consequences.

My board game group love "Blood on the Clocktower". I like some of its mechanics, especially ghost voting, but it never really clicked with me (for reasons no doubt we can discuss at the weekend)

I've long thought "2 Rooms and a Boom" would be a similarly ideal Cottage game.

Running late owing to tedious unavoidable errands, but will be there late aft! Will there be anyone up for a booze run when I get there? Just got a bottle of wine on me.

Although think I can grab nibbles and a four pack for the evening on my way. I'll be in at Derby at 4:40. Apologies fir tooth grinding lateness, but I'll be there through till Monday morn!

Passing Cheltenham Spa now. Apparently catching a bus from 'Lara Croft Way' is the ticket to cottage good times. Didn't know she was a local girl.

Am travelling light but still got me Switch, Parks and Camel Up/Cup as per tradition.

Is there a group food plan tonight or should I just bring in some pizza?

Can you buy pizza for all of us?
