Yeah, turns out it's dead easy when it's just one of you in the boat!

There were a few people on the tour that were in tandem kayaks and they all had similar issues to us (but not as bad as Pete and Zan though...)

Not sure about Kern, but apparently I was there! Bottom left, just to the right and up a bit from the guy in the blue T-shirt.

I met my new granddaughter and we took our first selfie while her parents went to find the car that was lost in the ridiculous sized carpark.

Aw, congratulations to you, Jazzy. That is a very cute pink buggy.

Is your new grandchild a sister to C, or do you have a brand new daddy in the family?

Weirdly, I was thinking of her just yesterday and thought she must be coming up to 16. My goodness, that time really does whoosh by.

Are you going to be doing any sewing for the new arrival if you find time?

I will, but not just yet. She's got a lot more f clothes at the moment, and I'd rather wait until I have a dedicated space again.

Taken in Norway, up in the Lofoten Islands.

Probably not the most scenic shot I took on the trip, but definitely the most appropriate one for here!

Went to a murder party on Friday and was cast as an affable aristocrat full of bonhomie. Costume choice was pretty easy, as you can see.

I arrived with a bottle of white wine for the hosts and a bottle of cava "for character work".

L'affable sounds like a French character, perfect for adding another layer of acting to the party.

Just needs a 'Compte' in front of it as well.

And then a butler to announce his arrive, 'Mesdames et messieurs, je vous présente le Comte (stupide) L'Affable.'

(No offence, Mr Kern.)

Yeah we stopped there but it was too choppy for the paddleboard so went next door where it was also too choppy.
