You can draw pics of my campaign? The character you drew for me standing and looking exasperated as all his party members fall through holes in the floorboards? :D :D

He changed his name in your post! :DD

I have to be part of the game to get the inspiration for the illustrations.

Or pay me.

I think up until a few weeks back we had been pretty lucky with cancellations, we've just been unfortunate to have a bunch all in a row.

I imagine that's kinda what being a priest in ancient Greece or Viking-land would be like. "Please Zeus, don't screw this up for me. Let us just have this one battle / sea voyage / harvest without you turning into a beast and trying to shag everything"

In my other game I took the "Lucky" feat to try to counteract my tendency to roll non-stop junk. It actually seems to be working - I've actually managed to dodge a few awful rolls that would have stuffed me otherwise.

i'm hoping for:

1.) We sort out what ever is causing issues in the sewer
2.) Ivo gets some sympathy action from this spooky lady
3.) From then on, Ivo rolls nothing under a 16

This is why when sdg can't make it we should just have freeform DM-less sessions where you can just be an octopus or bear for 2 hours.

What's going to happen:
1.) Ermintrude smashes whatever is causing issues in the sewer
2.) Ivo never hears from spooky lady again
3.) From then on, Ivo rolls nothing over a 1 6

So business as usual, then.

What with poor old sdg's illness and my other group being a load of flakes, flim-flammers and lightweights, I'm now feeling dangerously DnD deficient. I'm struggling with all this stupid reality I'm having to deal with.

There's a strong possibility of the next session being Rummages last when we all try and get a months worth of action into 2 hours.

Strong possibility of everyone just giving Ivo a thorough kicking for leading them into a sewer-based tentacle ambush

Finally managed to round up my other group for a session next week - I think it'll be our 4th in total and we started in March. At this rate we'll clear the first spooky house by Christmas, and will then be able to start on the adventure proper. My slightly shambolic other group is really making me appreciate all you guys.

Well, it got postponed by a week but we finally got another session in. Next session, we'll definitely make it to level 2, 4 months in :)

The stars are aligning... not only are we on the cusp of our weekly SD&DG nights returning but my local Aldi has reopened and has this Druid's favourite ale back in stock!

Just need to kick the Borrowers out of my dice arena now in preparation.

Huzzah! Druid ale all round!

My other group appear to be taking summer off, like they're wealthy Victorians heading back to their country estates for the grouse season.

:'( :'( :'(

Poor Gilly and her broken lungs :(

I was reading this the other day and thought it was interesting - D&D played as a sort of MMO, no over-arching narrative or fixed groups but a sort-of on-the-fly, multi-DM game.

Would be better for the room I've got available.

Plus, there's a D&D annual! https://forbiddenplanet.com/329286-dung ... nual-2022/

I'm tempted to make my own little dice tray as a hobby project - some nice wood and a bit of felt might turn out all right. That one looks nice though Dimrill, and a much more sensible size than Zardoz's's' Epic Colosseum Dice Arena.
