Good morning!

Welcome to Townie City; an oasis of calm and good natured awesomeness, presided over by the good Mayor MaliA.

But what's this?

Oh no! The Mayor is dead! Someone has griefed him, and the red shirt he's wearing is only red because of his own blood soaking it!

He was definitely unpopular, as he was both shot in the head and then brutally dismembered. It seems like there are undesirable elemenets in Townie City!

Root them out, good citizens!

[playerlist]
DavPaz
Trooper
Malc
Craster
Mr Russell
KovacsC
Ian Fairies
Bobbyaro
GazChap
TheFireFaerie
Malc74
Goddess Jasmine
Alberto
Nickachu
Grim...
TheVision
Squirt
zaphod79
Slightly Green
sdg
[/playerlist]

20 players, so 11 votes to get a lynch, or 15 for no lynch.

Day One ends Tuesday at 1.30pm, just to be unusual.

Reasonable to infer from this that that there's evil Mafia types and a nutbag serial killer hanging around, do we think?

Two bad elements for sure, and one of them mafia type, and the second possibly a serial killer, but too early to be certain. Could be two bad groups?

I had heard rumour that the Mayor was a bit of a pirate in a previous life, maybe his past came back to haunt him? Plus there was the pineapple incident...

So.

20 suspects in the town, 20 possible killers, 20 people who could be the end of all of us. What do we do?
If I was a betting man, I would bet on 6 of those people being bad in some way.

At this stage it is just a matter of typing in a name and seeing what that tells us...

Numbers, names and patterns people, numbers, names and patterns.

Hi Curio - the vote counter seems to be set to the "new-style" no-lynch of the majority of people - do you want it changed?

At this stage of the game even in 'blind scum' all your voting for is someone who is not you or that you know is not on your side.

I'd also say since we dont know who anyone is remember there could be more than just grouped killers (mafia) and psycho individuals , there could also be a cult / carnie / borg group which could slowly spread around the town.

[vote: squirt]

For nothing other than to see if he's around and will respond.

I expect it to just be a vote thrown out there with no info, but I thought I would ask anyway, as what else do we have at the moment? A dead body and a list of names. Obviously there will be people who know more, I but I expect them not to say that they do, for fear of being a target to either the good or bad people in the town, depending on their allegiance.

[vote: squirt]

Let's see what he has to say.

I am me too, what a coincidence!

Ahh, day one random voting... Am also presuming there are two killer-esque roles (poor The Mayor), but is it two groups, two individuals, a group and an individual, or... one split personality character who is two pshycos in one? (wouldn't put that one past Curio!)

Hi guys,

Just checking in, quite busy at the moment, but will be keeping an ear to the ground so to speak.

Never much to go on in the early days, but hopefully patterns will become apparent as the days go on.

Hmm, is it possible that Mr Russell has been given the "Cheery Edwardian Gent" role? If we wake up tomorrow to find an antique silver creamer in the shape of a cow has gone missing, we'll know who to blame.

Hello.

As a local shopkeep I saw an unusually tall man rooting around the bins behind my grocery store. It was too dark to see whether he was depositing something or taking something out but it scared my cat who has had the squits for two days straight. Mrs Shopkeep also has the squits. I have no squits.

Regards

Mr Shopkeep

Good Morning all. I have taken my hat off in respect for our poor, dead mayor. And then put it back on again because it's bloody cold.

So y'all know where I'm at, I'm going to wait until tomorrow and then vote for the quietest person.

Unless we get a no-lynch vote going.

Bertram Wilberforce?

Hey all,

I arrive to the office this morning and what do i find, a lynch mob forming! Wow, shame about the Mayor but nice to have some excitement in town. Looks to me like some of us are down right dirty rotten blighter's and need to be removed form us law abiding towns folk.

I was playing Golf all afternoon yesterday and had a few too many at the 19th, hence my oversleeping, what were the rest of you doing last night? ( I have the horrible feeling that my rendition of 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?' whilst strutting up and down the Bar may be up on www.metube.com/awesomepeformance/Golfing-goof. Which may be embarrassing but proves I was busy last night.

Anyway, I have work to do, later town

In the same way as it would always help us, ie. we'd have one more good guy tomorrow.

Not necessarily. And we'd likely be down a good person or two overnight, with no more info than we have today. At least voting for people gives us info to use in the future.
