It's Curiosity's turn in the chair this time, no matter what Jock does to him, he can't stop Curio from giggling like a girl.
In between the fits of girlish laughter, Curio blurts out "I'm a kidnapper, I'm a kidnapper! But I don't know where Kima is, we split up and she is no longer with me"
"I can tell you something though, you have 4 days until we kill her"
Giggle.
"Good luck"


<camera pulls back, in slides a scene with Goddess Jasmine, she is sitting at her desk and spies a box of chocolates that weren't there before. Nobody will notice if she has just one, a little one, maybe one of these ones that smells of almonds... [cough, cough, splutter, erk]>

Goddess Jasmine was a CTU Agent

<bottom left corner of the screen we see Kima still bound in the back of a van, a shadowy figure is taking potshots out of the window at pedestrians, Alberto is unlucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time>

Alberto was a Townie

<bottom right corner of the screen reveals the bomb. It is showing 5 and still counting down.>

Here is what we know so far...


Roles

Jock Bower * 1
The hero. You cannot be targeted or killed.
Win condition - Kima is free
Secondary win condition - stop the bomb
Action - Interrogate
Alignment - Good

FBI Agent * ?
On the side of the good guys
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Action - Investigate - find out the alignment of a person
Alignment - Good

Kidnapper * ?
You have Kima. As long as one of you are alive you are going to kill her at the start of day 6. You can talk to the other kidnappers. Each kidnapper taken out extends the deadline by a day.
Win condition - kill kima
Action - kill
Alignment - Bad

Head of CTU
You know who else is in CTU and can talk to them
Action - Protect - you can choose a person to bring into the agency overnight, nothing will happen to them.
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Alignment - Good

CTU Agent * ?
You can talk to the head of CTU.
Action - Block - you can choose a person to run an internet protocol event on, this stops them in their tracks for a night.
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Alignment - Good

Townies * ?
Win condition - all bad guys dead
Alignment - Good

Terrorist * ?
Win condition - BOOM!
Alignment - Bad

Intriguing.

Two more goodies down :( At least with Curio's interrogation we've learned there are more kidnappers apart from him, and the new info pointed out means we can keep Kima alive longer by finding the others. I guess it was a given there'd be more than one, but good to have it confirmed.

Whoever the serial killer (hitman?) is, he's so far targeted a terrorist and a CTU Agent. With a dwindling number of people left, should we be focusing on him too in case he takes out more goodies? I assume he's hitting at random.

However, last night I investigated Squirt and found him to be also a very bad person indeed.

I know the timing has been a little off from Troopers initial plan , but this day started yesterday afternoon but we seem to have a lot of people just staying silent.

I know that some of them wont be caring whats going on , and some will be trying to stay below the radar (for both good and bad roles) but not talking / not interacting does not work for the town.

It shouldn't - and the way to make it not is to talk , actually theres nothing wrong with 'voting' - it doesn't do anything but lets people know what your thinking and who you do / dont trust

(It will be worth talking over after the game but i understand the concern - my question would be what would be happening right now if Mr Russell had not come forward?)

If your saying you'll get stupid stuff (seriously - who apart from Mr Russ is going to claim as the mafia don ?) then yes , but accusations / discussions / 'stuff' will give more information for the rest of the game - I notice that Squirt is still not communicating with us - that may well be because he doesn't trust himself enough that he's not going to give out anything accidentally - its safest for him to go silently to the interrogation chair.

The thought did occur to me that it would be plausible for Russ and Curio to be in cahoots, and to agree for one to sacrifice the other to make the other look like a goodie.

But the lack of a counterclaim, and the pointing-of-the-finger at Squirt, will hopefully confirm that this isn't the case.

Interesting , i'd have had more kidnappers down and less CTU - since we've already lost one i would have said we only have another 1 - having 1xFBI / Jock / 1xCTU head and 3 CTU seems a very large size for the 'good' team ?

That would make my numbers more like
1 x Jock (Craster)
? x FBI (at least one Russ)
1 x CTU head
? x CTU agent (we've lost one I think theres probably one more or swap this for another FBI)
2 x Kidnappers
1 x Terrorist
Which would leave :
4 x townies

I do wonder if those 'X townies' could also include another character type - also I see we still dont have a win condition for the Kidnappers - given that even if its only Jock and the kidnappers left he cant be killed I wonder how they get to 'win' the game ?

Interesting , i'd have had more kidnappers down and less CTU - since we've already lost one i would have said we only have another 1 - having 1xFBI / Jock / 1xCTU head and 3 CTU seems a very large size for the 'good' team ?

That would make my numbers more like
1 x Jock (Craster)
? x FBI (at least one Russ)
1 x CTU head
? x CTU agent (we've lost one I think theres probably one more or swap this for another FBI)
2 x Kidnappers
1 x Terrorist
Which would leave :
4 x townies

I do wonder if those 'X townies' could also include another character type - also I see we still dont have a win condition for the Kidnappers - given that even if its only Jock and the kidnappers left he cant be killed I wonder how they get to 'win' the game ?


Yeah, I agree more with this, would be a lot to have had 3 CTU as well as the head! So that means only 3 baddies left? Unless we have a double somewhere?

I guess that might be their win state - that they're the only ones left along with Jock? Can't see any other way, given that Jock can't die!
