Hilarious. Hello Gazchap - that was crazy! I'd be willing to bet you get no apology, either.

Yeah, and it'll be my fault that I'm dead.

If MaliA isn't red, then he must surely be the Green Miscreant.

I'm quite surprised by them lynching you. Also surprised your deputy didn't roleclaim and save you that way. You'd at least have been guaranteed one more investigation.

I didn't want my deputy to roleclaim as it would put him on the chopping block straight away.

True, he might end up dead anyway, but the more investigations he has the more information he can gather - and if he can get it into the public eye subtly all the better.

Although of course, you need to be as subtle as a brick to the face to make people take notice in this game.

Ah, I'm allowed in here now am I? So annoyed I got killed, I missed the end of day one so read it all back and was really looking forward to day 2 starting. I think Grim might be a baddy.

Oh for goodness sake. I just read day 2. I thought Grim was a baddy before you named him Gaz, so how could they have not seen it once you named him as magenta! Idiots. Well, some of them are idiots, some of them are bad. Trooper is striking me as bad.

It always bemuses me that the tactical value of a known seroal killer is never used.

Who was it that killed me then, was it Grim or was it the reds? It sounds like a red kill, but I'd be annoyed if I'd been killed for being quiet when there were way more quiet people than me on day one and I'm historically rather active.

I was originally going to choose MaliA, as I mentioned in the day 1 thread.

Then, I realised after the day ended that if MaliA was red, there's almost certainly no way he'd make himself look THAT dodgy on day one deliberately. Unless it's part of an elaborate double-bluff, which is risky but entirely plausible - we'll have to wait and see on that one.

So I started scanning day 1 for suspicious activity. Your post about switching if it got closer to night time raised a red flag, but that wasn't enough in and of itself. My deputy then PM'd me and said that he had a feeling you were a bad'un, so that just cemented it really.

In other words - blind luck! ;)

I couldn't say "I'm a blue", as then i'd have been knocked off, sharpish. I wanted to lynch you, partly due to "no lynch" is rubbish, and it was a massive roleclaim, as I tried to explain to the others in the dome. I still contend my decision making was perfect and right.

Because the red would have killed me, to get one step closer to the mayor. Now the mayor's killed me, he's one step closer to death.

Also, it's entirely unverifiable unless the Deputy wants to investigate and then roleclaim.

Well, quite, and even though everyone was seemingly happy to take gazChap's word for it ina similar situation, I thought it wouldn't really have worked.

Ah. I wasn't aware there was such a thing, I figured all blues were something special.

A plain blue is exactly the same as a green, right?

That's a bit subtle. Probably not as subtle as this though:

Quote:
I'm not sure that lynching is the best thing to do, really.

As we don't know how many of each colour there are, should we be holding off? Maybe we can get some insight from the first night actions.

The saving grace is that the reds have to be sure before they claim revolution. Hopefully there are a few normal reds to make it unclear. Even just one has the potential to muddy the waters, which would be good, the leader won't want to claim revolution and roleclaim if he could be wrong.

Can I get a clarification rule-wise, though? Obviously the red leader can order a revolutionary to kill, but can he order multiple kills in one night if they have multiple revolutionaries? People are gonna be dropping like flies if that's the case, and if that is the case then maybe lynching is a better ploy.

;) I assume no-one spotted it, but then maybe that's why there was such a run on me ;)

I'm maintaining a decent record, then.

As it was, I hugely enjoyed this game, thanks Curio and supporting cast of people. I figured that if I spoke a lot and tried to do stuff, then great things might happen. only it seemed it was just me and slighlty green arguing for four days about who was who, whilst the REDS voted for me.

Nice twist with Mali as a standard blue, that should get some talking in the next day.

That's why I was keen on a no lynch, because at the start there were an undisclosed number of reds, blues, greens and magentas in the game.

To my mind, there was/is every possibility that the greens and blues were close to being outnumbered right from the start, which would make it hellishly easy for the reds to win. That's why I wasn't keen on offing someone randomly as if they were green/blue it would further increase the likelihood of them gaining a majority.

But oh well.

I can't think of any situation where a no lynch is preferable to a lynch. It gives the baddies a free hit. So, anyone suggesting it, is probably a baddie, as only they stand to benefit from it.

I can't think of one where it isn't.

Killing someone off gives them two.

Everyone moaning about it being the "towns only weapon" is a nob, because the bad guys learn everything they do, and have the huge advantage of knowing more about the roles in the first place. Beside saying hello, dropping some cryptic clues as to your role and talking too much about getting yourself in trouble, first days serve no purpose.

Ladies and Gentlemen. One of the worst arguments ever seen. Aside from Peck Roleclaims.

"I am extremely suspicious of Mr Russell not know how the townies work. He would know if he was a townie himself"

Russell may be guilty... but based on that? Really?!

Yeah, they've not even considered the possibility that both you and the reds targeted the same person.

But then, I can't blame them, I mean that would be far too unlikely on day one, wouldn't it? Almost as unlikely as the only decent power-role the good guys have being forced to roleclaim only to then investigate the serial killer on the first night ;)

Neither have they considered the possibility of there being more than one magenta. True, it looks like there isn't, but I'd laugh my socks off if it turned out there is another one and they're just biding their time.

The kill descriptions were very clear, I thought.

Stabs = Magenta

Paint = Reds
