Hello.

As suggested recently, there isn't a single repository for photos of Beex events. Well, now there is!

http://peex.beex.co.uk

I think it's functional. Tested in Chrome, please let me know about issues you find (and mention your browser type and version when you find them).

Peex isn't mobile optimised, and (currently) only the standard theme of Beex (subsilver2 - not the quote theme, or the mobile theme) knows how to display the pictures, but I'll work on that.

If you want an album created, ask a moderator. We're bashing out the rules on what is "allowed" as an album right now.

Normal forum rules apply for NSFW images, obviously.

If anyone's interested in making an application using the images, Peex has a public api - hassle me and I'll write some documentation.

If you just want to play around and see what works, use the "Test Album". I'll delete that at some point in the future.

Go break it, Beexers ;)

Oooh. Photo doesn't show up in preview mode on Beex though, which is a little annoying.

Looks good. Will add some recent BBQ and Cottage photos at some point.

I have older ones, depends if we want to see how we've aged since the heady days of BeeX Cottage 1.

Plus, the photo overlays (banner on top, navigation on bottom*) cover up part of the picture and can't be switched off. Be nice if there was a toggle or summit.

Down arrow.
(Up arrow to go back to the home page (or bring the overlay back if it's hidden), left arrow to go back a photo, right arrow to go on a photo).

Random album view!

Ah. That doesn't work so good if there aren't enough photos.

I just deleted my image from Peex and came back to the forum where I'd posted it. I then clicked on where the image used to be which went through to a white screen on Peex, fair enough.

When I came back to the forum, Chrome seemed to lock up on me and needed a forced shut down.

You did tell us to break it!

Cool :)

Overloading the up arrow like that can cause an issue though, as if you hit up arrow it takes you back the home page, but with no ability to easily go back to where you were previously.

Hmm, they don't sound like they'd be related. Which picture was it?

This is nifty. Can you easily rotate the pics you upload? I might make a few albums f stuff from my phone (though will upload them from my PC).

The picture was my Rise of the Robots pic.

Also,an idea for version 2. Could the pictures have comments? Only available to the uploader mind... Just so that people can be named in the pics.

Interesting. Pics from Peex don't show up in my browser (Safari, mobile site).

Really? Looked like a rules violation to me. Is that what it was, DP? Have you been a bad person?
