Pretty sad news, as I'm a massive fan of Bubble Bobble. It's probably one of the first games I look into getting whenever I emulate a new system, and have fond memories of the NES version.

Very, very sad news if true (it seems to be all rumour at the moment). Loved BB and Rainbow Islands to bits.
