So did you watch? if so, who was your fave act?

Personally I thought the 7 black dudes without instruments were simply astounding. So much so that even take that didn't seem very good.

Naturally 7. About to youtube and see if it brings up any results.

Simply astounding. They really made Take That seem rather ordinary and I love Take That.

"And the only instruments they use are their voices"... cue video of band member clapping his hands to make a beat.

Still, very impressive.

Here's a better less 'TV' version.

We taped it because of that. They were bloody superb.

Shame Armstrong and Miller pretty much died on their arse. The audience just didn't get it, and that chav airmen routine took an amazing amount of work. "Oooh.. a grenade. We took a Grenade course at college. I got an E minus but my mum phoned up and complained and they gave me a D."

We turned on, and there were some Spanish gypsies wailing interminably, so we eventually got bored and watched something else instead.

I saw Jeremy Beadle in the audience so ran to church and lit 1 big candle and one small one, and then prayed.

I turned it on to witness Cliff Richard performing the tinniest rock and roll I have ever heard then turned off again.

I turned it on to see Rod Gilbert (is that his name? The Welsh comedian who was on Live at the Apollo the other week), and tried to watch it, desperately attempting to listen above the noise of the other people in the room.

And then Cliff Richard came on, in a glittery jacket, with some other old people too poor to afford his level of cosmetic sorcery. It was awful.

Rhod Gilbert.

He quite funny.

EDIT - Though I prefer Mark Watson, as far as Welsh comedians go

"I demand compensation!"

I didn't get it at first either. You don't usually expect chavs to be well spoken. When it sunk in I was in fits. Chuffing brilliant.

I have seen him live loads of times, as he used to compere every Sunday night at Up The Creek. He says the word 'brilliant' a lot.

Handy - you could hang around outside the comedy club and still hear the entire set without having to pay.

Yeah, I know. He puts on this half-Welsh, half-Bristolian accent which is a lot like Doccie G's.

I took my wife to a michael buble concert and naturally 7 were the support act. For the first few minutes I thought wow, great what terrific sounds those dudes are making. Then I quickly got bored and found it quite repetitve. They also kept on with some quasi-preaching BS and stayed out way too long.

Michael buble was very entertaining, I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Just FYI Naturally 7 have just released their album Wall of Sound.

And it's very good tbh. Some of it is a bit 'R Kelly' but their cover of More than words is awesome :)

Edit : Wow, their version of Bridge over troubled water is simply astounding :o
