Actually recognisable? I don’t know anyone from that world apart from the racer I know personally. You can imagine how proud her family feel!

The only one I recognise is Zidane, and I'm not sure why he is there at a racing thing as he is (was) a kickball man - a brilliant one, one of my favourites even.

Even I have heard of Zinedine Zidane. I wouldn’t have recognised him, though.

The racer I know did repost Zidane’s IG post about the event yesterday. He’s signed to Alpine F1 as a sports ambassador, specifically to promote/engineer inclusivity in the sport for that team… or something. I had a Google.

Thread necromancy hooooooo!

I don’t know anything about racing, but my good friend’s daughters has been signed to the Alpine F1 mentorship program. The racers are from all over the world and she is representing the U.K.

She’s the shortest one in these pictures.

Everyone is rightly so proud of her and I thought it’d be nice to share some positive news.

The young girl I know that is in these photos is in the trailer for a new movie. It’s called F1, has Brad Pitt in.
